This Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and describes how personal data of users visiting badil.it and its subdomains (the “Site”) are processed.

2. Types of data processed
a) Browsing data
The IT systems and software used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, request time). These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to verify its correct functioning.
b) Data voluntarily provided by the user
Optional, explicit and voluntary submission of messages through the contact form or to the Controller’s email entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s data (name, surname, email, optional phone, company name and message content) necessary to respond to the request.
c) Newsletter subscription
If the user subscribes to the newsletter, name and email are processed in order to send informational and promotional communications about the Controller’s services. The user can unsubscribe at any time through the link at the bottom of each message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Reply to enquiries received via form or email — legal basis: pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Send the newsletter and promotional communications — legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: Art. 6.1.c GDPR.
- Site security and prevention of fraud/abuse — legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
4. Processing methods and retention
Data are processed with electronic tools and with security measures suitable to guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability. Data collected through the contact form are kept for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and subsequently for a maximum period of 24 months for archiving and legal defence purposes. Newsletter data are kept until consent is withdrawn.
5. Recipients of the data
Data may be communicated to entities providing instrumental services on behalf of the Controller, as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, including:
- hosting and cloud infrastructure providers;
- email and newsletter delivery providers;
- consultants and professionals (legal, tax) within the limits of the above purposes.
Data are not disseminated. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area: in such cases the transfer is based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other adequate safeguards under Arts. 44 ff. GDPR.

7. Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15–22 GDPR, the data subject may exercise at any time the rights of: access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent to info@badil.it.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Changes
The Controller reserves the right to update this Policy to reflect regulatory or organisational changes. The updated version will always be published on this page with the last-updated date.
