In 2026, a prompt can generate a working interface. AI development tools have dramatically lowered the barrier to creating software. That is positive, but it has also created a dangerous confusion: many people mistake a working prototype for a production-ready product.
What AI does well
AI excels at rapid prototyping: generating interfaces, writing boilerplate and suggesting data structures. Within hours you can have an app that looks and feels functional. It is a powerful tool for validating an idea, showing a concept to a client or building a rough MVP.
What still requires human expertise
An app working locally or with test data is different from one running in production with real users, sensitive data and unpredictable traffic. A professional backend requires scalable architecture: does it work with ten users and with ten thousand? It needs security: are user data protected and APIs properly authenticated? It requires integration with existing systems such as management software, ERP and accounting, as well as maintenance and updates: who responds when something breaks at midnight?
Badil’s role
Badil uses AI to accelerate prototyping, generate repetitive components and speed up parts of development. Architecture, security, integration and maintenance still require technical competence, domain experience and contractual accountability. AI alone does not guarantee these. Badil takes responsibility for them.
